PERN: Russian oil supplies to Poland via Druzhba to restart Jun 10
WARSAW, Jun 4 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pumping via the Druzhba pipeline to Poland will restart on June 10, and all three lines of the pipeline will start working on July 1, Poland’s operator of the pipeline PERN said in a statement late on Monday.
“A partial restart of crude supply from Russia by the Druzhba pipeline will take place on June 10… On July 1, all three lines of the pipeline will be used in a routine regime,” PERN said. The company added that it is technically prepared for restart of oil acceptance.
The problem with the quality of oil coming from Russia to Europe across Belarus via the Druzhba pipeline appeared in April. In Belarus, the pipeline splits into two strings, of which one goes to Poland and Germany, and the other to Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary. Good-quality oil deliveries resumed in early May, but there is still dirty oil in the facility.
